Sinopsis:


Saiful Bachri, the teacher of the recitation from the Pabelan Islamic Boarding School, was sent to Sekarlangit, a village outside Java, at the request of Haji Mustofa. He was chosen because except for his intelligence in religion, also his skills in agriculture. One thing the village needed was according to Mostopha. Saiful’s arrival caused various reactions from the villagers. Haji Musa, who was a role model for the population, at first did not sympathize with the reforms brought by Saiful.
